전세계가 사랑하는 K-POP 스타 방탄소년단과 DJ MAG 9위 스티브 아오키의 콜라보 곡.

MIC DROP 은 한국의 보이그룹 BTS 방탄소년단의 다섯번째 미니앨범 LOVE YOURSELF에 수록된 곡입니다.

사실 이 노래의 모티브는 오바마 대통령이 연설 후에 마이크를 떨어뜨리는 장면을 힙합의 SWAG과 연결시킨 곡입니다.

이 유명한 원곡을 미국의 유명 프로듀서 겸 DJ 인 Steve Aoki 와 리믹스하여 더 빠른템포의 곡으로 다시 태어나게 됩니다.

저는 처음에 이 노래를 들었을 때(2017MAMA였던듯?),

도대체 이 가사가 한국말인지.. 영어인지 조차 알 수 없었습니다ㅋㅋㅋ

(위의 오바마 대통령 짤이 노래와 오버랩되는 듯 하네요.)

스티브 아오키를 간략히 말씀드리면 긴 머리를 한 동양적인 외모를 가진 DJ입니다.

K POP 스타들과 상당한 친분이 있는 듯 합니다.

2017년 월드클럽돔 공연에서 빅뱅의 승리가 스티브 아오키의 무대에 올라 함께 하는 모습도 있었습니다.

항상 페스티벌 공연에서 자신의 노래 CAKE SONG 에 맞춰 실제 케이크를 관객에게 집어던지는 퍼포먼스로 유명하지요.

이 노래는 또한 스티브 아오키의 공연에 항상 플레잉 되게 됩니다.

이번 울트라 뮤직 페스티벌 마이매이 2018 공연에서 

이 노래에 맞춰 Featuring 한 Desiigner와 함께 무대를 펼치게 되며 흥분의 도가니로 만듭니다.
